Rögrund

Rögrund is a beautiful little island on the outskirts of the archipelago. The island is centrally located between Dalarö and Stavsnäs.

The nature on the island is very diverse, with forests and meadow areas, winding paths lined with smooth rock formations. The island is anything but groomed and encourages swimming in various spots. Aside from its fantastic nature, the island is home to only a pub and a hostel.

To reach Rögrund, you can come from Saltsjöbaden, Tyresö (Trinntorp), or Stavsnäs. During the high season, there are also boats departing from Strömkajen and from Dalarö. If you're arriving by your own boat, there is a guest dock in the harbor near the sea tavern.

Regarding the nature reserve

Rögrund is a part of Nämdö nature reserve that is managed by the Archipelago Foundation.

You can read all about the rules for nature reserves at the County Administrative Board.
