Rindö Redoubt

Rindö redoubt was built in 1859-64 to aid Vaxholm castle in defending the inlet via Kodjupet and Northern Vaxholm coastal inlet. It has a high location on the north point of Rindö where canons could be fired from the redoubt in a better position than from the castle, to protect the northern and northeastern sectors.
