Nybörjarviken

Nybörjarviken (beginner’s bay) in Hästholmssundet on south Grinda is a ”practice area” for new boat owners to learn safety and boating before heading out on the open waters. The jetty is also wheelchair accessible.  

This is a joint initiative from Sweboat, the magazine “Allt för sjön” and The Archipelago Foundation to help new and inexperienced boaters to feel secure venturing out into the archipelago.
